To achieve this, ENDESA is constantly strengthening its sales channels, one of the main aims being to standardise the service customers receive in all their dealings with the company. This is based on a thorough segmentation of these customers, according to consumption level, economic sector and region.
ENDESA is active in the electricity markets of Spain, Portugal and several other European countries and is also present in a large number of Latin American markets. At the end of 2008, ENDESA and its subsidiaries had a combined installed capacity of 39,656 MW, producing 149,830 GWh and supplying 172,788 Gwh to 24 million clients in the same year.
