Endesa operates the Bialystok power station (Elektrocieplownia Bialystok, S.A.) in the northeast of the country. |

It is a highly efficient coal-burning plant with 330 MWe of capacity, which produces over 1,700 GWh a year. The plant provides all the electricity and heat requirements (heating and industrial steam) for the city of Bialystok, and has excess capacity to supply new customers.
